Forgotten Children premieres tomorrow at the Rhode Island International Film Festival!  And here is a nice article in the Providence Business News about it.

Forgotten Children, our film for Big Hope Films finishes casting this weekend, with a production end date of June 18th.  So this one should be in the can soon.  Also, after 6 hours of footage, There She is, Mrs. Massachusetts wrapped.  I'm thrilled with the quality of the footage we got, and thank everyone who helped make this project possible.  We're aiming for the Sundance deadline for editing.

There is some exciting news about a feature screenplay, which I can't reveal yet.  See.  This is called dramatic suspense.

And the hits keep coming.  My feature script
ManBoobs is a finalist in the Beverly Hills Film Festival. Forgotten Children, the screenplay I wrote for Big Hope Films, is being cast in April.  I am directing a humorous documentary: There She Is, Mrs. Massachusetts which starts filming this weekend.  And Followed is complete, and making the rounds at film festivals as we speak.  I'll keep you updated!

Busy, busy, but all good.  A Seattle director picked up my script
Followed last month for production.  Also, a local Olympic Champion in Tae Kwon Do  hired me to write his next feature script which will be filmed overseas in 2009.

Long time no update, but rest assured, I have been busy.  Specifically, I just discovered I will be going to LA in August because my screenpla
y Sasha (co-authored with the lovely Andrea Henry), is a finalist in the Feel Good Film Festival

Just discovered that my drama feature script
, Synchronicity was a quarter-finalist in Francis Ford Coppola's American Zoetrope Screenplay competition.  There were over 2000 entries, and they picked 200 to move on.  Here's to being in the top 10%!

Also, I will be performing stand-up for the Erma Bombeck Convention in Dayton, Ohio again.  They only selected three comedians who performed last time to give an encore performance, so I am very honored to be chosen.

A
nd PrintError is nearly wrapped!  We just have a few pick-ups to get, and we'll be done.  I'll keep you up on updates.

Also, I found out a month or so ago that my script
, Night Terrors was chosen to be in The Vine Entertainment film festival.   It was one of 50 out of 800 scripts eligible to be selected for The Fruit of the Vine Award, to be filmed by The Vine Entertainment. As this was  the first draft of the script, I was very honored it got this far.

After a lengthy pitch process,  I will be directing two short films
, PrintError and Surviving Hector, written by the occasionally charming Gene Doucette as affiliated productions for the Rhode Island Film Collaborative This is slightly different than their official production, which we were actually pitching for, but we're still very excited! I will let you know about film progress, and we'll probably have a website for our production company once we decide on a name.

Also, they keep throwing screenwriting awards at me.  Just found out I won fourth place in my heat for my romantic comedy short sc
ript, H.G. Wells Air, in the NYCMidnight Competition.  Yay!

(No, that isn't a typo.  I really wrote a romantic comedy.  And it actually won something.  Really.  Go look.)

Also, our four-award-winning 48 hour film is online
here!  And you can buy a copy of the Best of Providence DVD (with our film on it) here.
